After many hours of research and personal application.  I have come up with a conclusion.  Gel polish is here to stay. 

There are several companies on the market.  Almost every acrylic line also has an extended wear polish line available. 

Gelish is a true gel polish and Shellac is a hybrid (gel/ enamel polish).

However, an awful lot of woman and a small amount of men, LOVE Gelish.  This product is made by Hand and Nail Harmony.  The Gelish super shiny top coat is all the rave.  Gelish rules in the streets!!!  This may be because Gelish is a gel polish and Shellac is a hybrid (gel/ enamel polish).

Well how you like them apples?  I do know I have not compared the two products side by side.  NO, I have now listed the pros and the cons in a good old American democratic way.  Hmm, I suppose I may be a tad bit bias. 

What are your thoughts on the issue: to Gelish or not?
